“COMFORT” piano concert with Leon Guallart on 24.05.25

On Saturday, May 24, 2025 at 7:00 pm, we welcome the internationally acclaimed artist Leon Guallart as part of his “Comfort: Home” tour for an exclusive piano concert at Haus Rabe in Zwenkau.

Guallart – a multidisciplinary artist from Barcelona – combines music, film and narrative art in a unique way. Its sound, often described as a “warm embrace in the middle of a snowstorm”, has a special effect in architecturally significant spaces. On his tour, he makes guest appearances in iconic buildings by Frank Lloyd Wright, Richard Neutra and Mies van der Rohe, among others.

With Haus Rabe, Guallart enters into an extraordinary architectural dialog: The monument designed by Adolf Rading and decorated by Oskar Schlemmer is a key work of modernism and the Bauhaus idea.
